Clear cookies and cache

Steps for clearing saved browser data in Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Microsoft Edge.

Clearing cookies and cache can fix browser issues caused by old saved data.

When to use this

  • Logentic keeps showing old information after a refresh.

  • You are stuck on the login page.

  • Buttons, pages, filters, or search results do not load correctly.

  • Support asks you to clear browser data before testing again.

Before you start

  • Clearing cookies may sign you out of websites.

  • If you only want to fix Logentic, clear data for app.getlogentic.com when your browser offers a site-specific option.

  • After clearing data, close and reopen the browser, then sign in again.

Google Chrome

  1. Open Chrome.

  2. Click the three dots in the top-right corner.

  3. Click Delete browsing data.

  4. Choose a time range. For a full reset, choose All time.

  5. Select Cookies and other site data and Cached images and files.

  6. Click Delete data.

  7. Reopen Chrome and sign in again.

Safari on Mac

  1. Open Safari.

  2. In the menu bar, click Safari > Settings.

  3. Open Privacy.

  4. Click Manage Website Data.

  5. Select the site, or click Remove All if you need a full reset.

  6. Click Remove or Remove All, then Done.

  7. Close and reopen Safari.

Firefox

  1. Open Firefox.

  2. Click the menu button in the top-right corner.

  3. Go to Settings > Privacy & Security.

  4. Under Cookies and Site Data, click Clear Data.

  5. Select Cookies and Site Data and Temporary cached files and pages.

  6. Click Clear.

  7. Close and reopen Firefox.

Microsoft Edge

  1. Open Edge.

  2. Click the three dots in the top-right corner.

  3. Go to Settings > Privacy, search, and services.

  4. Under Delete browsing data, click Choose what to clear.

  5. Choose a time range. For a full reset, choose All time.

  6. Select Cookies and other site data and Cached images and files.

  7. Click Clear now.

  8. Reopen Edge and sign in again.
