In this tutorial, we are going to make a box logo that is smart and recognizable. The box logo that we are going to make consists of a box, some text components and an icon. The steps are easy to follow with the help of Logomaster's editing tool. Stay tuned!
Step 1 - Create the box
1. At the editing panel, you can add a box to your design. Select the Shape tab on the left and you will see a list of available shapes. Select the rectangle with gap both at the top and the bottom.
2. Adjust the width and height of the box so that it has enough space for the company name.
3. Also adjust the gap at the top and the bottom. You can adjust the slider so that there is enough room. At the top we are going to place the icon. At the bottom, we will place the slogan.
Step 2 - Add the text
1. Now we can add the company name. Select the Text tab on the left panel so that we can add a text component.
2. We will choose the sans-serif category. It gives a modern style to your logo.
3. Scroll down to the very bottom and we pick the font Ubuntu. It is okay to pick other font that you like.
4. Place the text in the middle of the box. Adjust the font size and letter spacing so that your company name looks great. I would recommend at least 0.2px of letter-spacing.
5. Then, we click the Duplicate button to get another text component for the slogan.
6. We enter the text for our slogan.
7. We reduce the font size and letter-spacing so that the slogan can fit in the bottom gap.
8. In extra, I would like to add a little bit of curvature to the slogan.
Step 3 - Add an icon
1. For the icon, we would place it at the top gap. Select the Icon tab on the left to load our icon finder.
2. We search for the keyword "light bulb".
3. Pick the icon you like from the returned list.
4. Resize the icon and set its color to bright yellow.
5. Place the icon at the top gap and your logo is ready to go!
That's it! You now own a good looking logo that help your brand stands out from the crowd. Of course, you will make further customization so that it is unique to you and your brand. But overall the tools should be easy to use.
