The members' module visually represents your members from all walks of the onboarding process, be it the request approval stage, rejection, pending onboarding, etc. Here, you will receive all the requests for member onboarding.
The Members module has three tables: Member, Groups, and Dynamic Data. We will discuss each one separately. This article will discuss only the Members tab in the Members module.
How does the Members tab work?
The Members tab consists of comprehensive information about a user. Their name, photo, email ID, membership card, date of onboarding, roles, and approval information.
The top of the Member’s page shows the number of members listed on the platform. This is followed by a search bar, and the bottom of the page reflects the listing pagination. Read more about how that operates in the article here.
In addition to the search bar, there is the option to select the “Only Pending User” option. By clicking this option, the entire list of members with a pending status (pending onboarding or approval) will be displayed.
The recent update redirects admins directly to the member's information page, from where they can approve or reject a member's request.

Also, you can sort the information option by selecting only the information you want to view from the checkbox. This way, you can filter out multiple columns from the member's information and view only the relevant one.
After receiving the request, you can take the necessary action to add the member. To return to the default setup, you can deselect the “Only Pending User” option.
When the member is approved, the selected entry membership card is assigned to the member. You can change the card from the available option in the drop-down menu. Read more about how manual approval settings work in the membership article.
If manual approval is not selected in the settings module, all the incoming requests are auto-approved.
However, upon approval of the member, be it manually or automatically, the member onboarding process starts. Explore more about how onboarding functions for members in this specific article.
The following mail is sent to the members after you approve the membership request.
To read more about member onboarding, please read the onboarding article.
If you wish to edit any members’ details, go to the Actions column and select edit. You will enter the edit member information tab. The above editing rights are optional and useful when a member cannot complete the onboarding due to the wrong email address or even when the onboarding member has not received any verification mail on the entered email address.
In such cases, the admin can help them change the information from the BO directly.
Here you can change any respective information such as first name, and last name, and replace an email address if requested by the user.
You also have the option to change the members' roles to Admin. However, the given email address will remain a member by default.
From here, you can assign a particular group, enter the company name, or even change the membership card.
There is also an option to add member numbers. This field specifies that if you already have an existing system and want to shift to ours, you can populate it with the sequence and keep track of your existing system as is.
Approve or Reject the member from the Approval info section.
You can now also view the list of notifications a particular member receives by clicking the member notification button.
Please complete or change the information in the mandatory dynamic data fields and click the save button in the upper right corner.
The saved information is reflected on the members' listings.
Admins can remove a member's photo and replace it with another one using drag and drop functionality.
For filling up data in dynamic fields:
This section will display all the information collected from the dynamic fields during onboarding or on the profile related to a specific member.
However, if a member deletes his/her profile from the application, the data fields will appear empty, as we do not store any data to comply with the GDPR guidelines.
How to initiate mass membership approval?
If you have received say more than 20 requests, and the request is pending your decision. You can select the “Select All” button and initiate the “action” whether it is Approval or Rejection.
Upon pressing the “Approve” or “Reject” option, the action is taken over the entire set of members.
Press the Reset button to deselect the selection of members.
How to create a new member manually?
To add a new member to the list press the “+” sign. A pop-up shown below will appear on the screen.
To add a new member to the list of approved members, enter the member's email address and set a password.
Once completed, click the "Create User" button to finalize the process, successfully adding the new member.
What happens if you reject a membership request?
If you want to reject a membership request for any reason, you need to press the “Reject” button appearing in the columns.
Once you reject the member, the following screen appears on the user’s screen. Rejection limits the member from accessing the application any further. However, if you decide to approve the same rejected member, you can do that and revere the accessibility.
Difference Between Rejection and Deletion?
The admin from the BO side initiates rejection, while the members themselves do Deletion. Deleting the account deletes the form answers submitted during the onboarding. Members will receive an email for the same.
How to initiate a Delete account request?
If a member has uninstalled the application without initiating account deletion, they can request it using a delete account URL. Loialcard will provide this URL to the application admins, and it will be specific to your app only. Members can follow the instructions to have their accounts deleted from the application.
Members can permanently delete their accounts from their screens if they wish. Loialcard is a GDPR-compliant application, so if the member chooses to delete the account, all stored data is removed from the system.
