This article covers only the Webflow integration for Lokalise Vantage. To learn about Webflow app for Lokalise Expert, refer to the Webflow article.
The Webflow integration in Lokalise Vantage allows you to import Webflow content directly into a Vantage project.
Instead of exporting content manually, you can connect your Webflow account, select the website content you want to localise, and let Vantage handle translation and review using your usual project workflow.
Once the content is imported, you can work with it in Vantage just like with other supported content sources: apply translation assets, choose a workflow, review translations in the Editor, and manage tasks if human review is enabled.
Supported Webflow content
Vantage can import and translate the following Webflow content:
static pages
collection items
static elements within collection pages
page components
page metadata, including:
SEO title
SEO description
page title
OpenGraph title
OpenGraph description
slugs, such as the translatable part of a URL
asset metadata
Step 1: Create a new project
You can connect Webflow when creating a new Vantage project.
Start by creating a new Vantage project as usual:
Open the Vantage dashboard.
Click New project.
Step 2: Choose Webflow as your content source
When asked to choose the content source, select Webflow from Connect to your tool.
Step 3: Provide project details
Enter the project details, such as project name, base language, target languages.
Once you're ready, click Continue with Webflow.
Step 4: Authorize Webflow access
Follow the authorization flow and select the Webflow site you want to connect.
Choose one of the entries from the list and click Authorize app.
Once authorization is complete, you will return to Vantage and see the Webflow content selection screen.
Step 5: Select Webflow content
After connecting Webflow, you can choose which content to import into the Vantage project.
The content selection screen includes filters to help you find the right items:
Search — find content by name or keyword.
Content types — filter by content type, such as static pages, collection pages, collection items, and components.
Status — filter by content status, such as draft or published.
Dates — filter content by a date range.
Select the content you want to localise, then continue creating the project.
Once the project is created, Vantage imports the selected content and starts the configured translation workflow automatically.
Step 6: Finalize setting up the project
After the Webflow content is selected, continue setting up the project as usual.
You can:
add or use existing translation assets
choose a workflow, such as AI only or AI + human review
When ready, click Start AI translation. At this point Lokalise Vantage will start importing your Webflow content.
The translation process follows the same workflow as other Vantage projects.
Step 7: Import more Webflow content later
The same Webflow content filters are also available after the project is created when importing additional content into the project. To import more content, simply press the Import from Webflow button in the side menu.
You can use:
search
content type
status
last updated date range
This helps you find and import new or updated Webflow content without creating a new project.
Step 8: Send translated content back to Webflow
Once translations are ready, you can send them back to Webflow directly from the editor.
To export translated content, open the project editor in Vantage and click Send to Webflow in the top menu:
Select the content you want to export:
Choose the target languages and confirm the export:
Vantage will send the translated content back to the connected Webflow site. After the export is complete, you can continue managing and publishing the translated content from Webflow.
