Whether you test with your own users or recruit through a 3rd party, we'll walk you through how it works.
Incentives
Lookback does not currently facilitate incentive payouts when using your own participants. Incentives are fully supported when using participants recruited via Lookback.
Using your own panel of participants
For remote sessions:
On the Choose your participants screen, select Invite my own participants
After you've finished setting up the round, copy the Participant Link URL (this can be found both under the Participants section of the Round settings:
or directly from the dashboard after the Round has been created:
Send the URL to your Participants via email, text message, or a popup on your site. We've created a number of email templates you can leverage and customize.
Wait for them to join your Remote LiveShare and begin your session, or watch their unmoderated sessions roll in. All sessions will appear in your project, alongside the Participant name. Participants can also be found under the Participants tab in the left-hand sidebar.
NOTE: If you prefer anonymity, instruct Participants to enter name as P1, P2,... and their email can simply be email@email.com
For in-person sessions:
1. Start a new In-Person LiveShare (in-lab) session
2. Hand over the device to the participant. Done.
