Post Formats

Loomly currently supports the following formats for each social network:

  • Facebook: simple status, link, image (.jpg, .png, .gif), video (.mp4), multiple-image.

  • Twitter: simple status, link, image (.jpg, .png, .gif), video (.mp4), multiple-image.

  • Instagram: image (.jpg, .png, .gif), video (.mp4), multiple-image.

  • Pinterest: link, image (.jpg, .png, .gif).

  • LinkedIn: simple status, link, image (.jpg, .png, .gif), multiple image, video (.mp4).

  • Google Business Profile: simple status, link, image (.jpg, .png).

  • TikTok: video (.mp4, .mov), multiple-image (.jpg, .png)

  • Snapchat: image (.jpg, .png), video (.mp4, .mov)

  • YouTube: video (.mp4, .mov)

📝 Note:

  1. For Instagram, up to 30 hashtags are supported. 

  2. We support up to 10MB images for all channels except Twitter, where up to 5MB is supported.

  3. We recommend videos less than 30MB and shorter than 2 minutes for the best performance. Up to 200MB and 5 minutes is supported, but may take a while to process, except Snapchat where up to 10 MB is supported.

  4. Instagram and Snapchat allow videos up to 60 seconds in length.

  5. For Instagram Direct Publishing, the video must be a minimum of 3 seconds.

Facebook and Twitter

📝 Note:

  • Your Facebook page & group must be connected through a personal account that is an Admin of that page/group.

  • Reels and Stories must be published with the help of reminders and notifications.

Instagram

📝 Note:

  • Your Instagram Business and Creator account must be connected through a Facebook Business page if you'd like to take advantage of the features offered in their respective columns above.

  • The Grid Preview will not be available for Personal accounts and other accounts connected through the Instagram username.

  • If any Instagram Business or Creator accounts are connected through usernames, you will only be able to manually publish posts and stories with the help of reminders.

  • Interactions for boosted posts and ads are not currently supported.

  • Reels and Stories must be published with the help of reminders and notifications.
