How do I revoke access from Facebook, Instagram, or LinkedIn?

Learn how to revoke Loomly's access from Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn

Sometimes it is necessary to revoke Loomly's access from social media platforms if all permissions were not allowed when initially connecting the social account or simply because you do not want Loomly to access the social account anymore.

  • You can use Manage Social Accounts to disconnect, refresh, and connect Social Accounts.

  • You can also view any Social Account requires attention due to failures or expiration from here.

See below for how to revoke access from Facebook and Instagram or LinkedIn:

To Revoke Access from Facebook + Instagram:

  • Return to the Social Accounts tab of your calendar Settings page in Loomly, and remove your Facebook connections by clicking the red 'x' then reconnect your Facebook account to Loomly with the green CONNECT buttonĀ 

  • A new Facebook window will pop up, prompting you to grant permissions to Loomly. Accept all permissions asked by Facebook, including those related to your Profile (this is necessary since Loomly access Pages through your Profile, as mentioned earlier).

  • You will be taken back to Loomly, on the page where you can select which Facebook Page you want to connect your calendar to, with the dropdown menu: Select your Page

šŸ“ Notes:

  • You will need to refresh connections to Facebook and Instagram accounts for each calendar as this will disconnect the connections all calendars you have connected.

  • You can complete reconnecting for all Facebook and all Instagram connections for each calendar from the hyperlinks provided.

To Revoke Access from LinkedIn: Ā 

  • Log in to your LinkedIn account

  • Click on your profile image in the top right corner

  • Click on Data Privacy on the left-hand side

  • Click on Other applications.

  • Remove Loomly from your list of authorized apps

  • Return to the Social Accounts tab of your calendar Settings page in Loomly, and remove your LinkedIn connections by clicking the red 'x' then reconnect your LinkedIn account to Loomly with the green CONNECT button

  • Accept all permissions by clicking on AllowĀ 

šŸ“ Notes:

  • You will need to refresh connections to LinkedIn pages for each calendar as this will disconnect the connections all calendars you have connected.

  • You can reconnect all of your LinkedIn accounts once this has been completed from here.
