Unlike Facebook users, Instagram users cannot grant your app access tokens directly. Instead, they must connect their Instagram Professional account to a Facebook Page. 

Personal accounts can no longer be supported as we must adhere to Instagram's policies.

If you are still having some issues to connect your Instagram account: 

1. Confirm that you have Instagram Business Account  

How to check if you have an Instagram Business Account : 

  • Go to the Instagram mobile app, and log into your account
  • Go to the profile, then click on the upper right-hand corner
  • Go to Settings
  • Go to Account
  • If you have a Business Account, you will see Switch to Personal Account and Switch to Creator Account at the bottom 

2. Confirm that your Facebook Business Page is connected to your Instagram Business Account

How to check:

  • Go to your Facebook Page, then go to Settings
  • Click Instagram in the left column
  • The username listed should be the same account as the Instagram Business Account in question

3. Confirm that your Facebook Business Page is listed on your Instagram Business Account

  • Go to the Instagram mobile app, and log into your account
  • Go to the profile
  • Click on Edit Profile
  • Confirm that the Page for the Public Business Information is the same Facebook Business Page from Step 2 


If you confirm all 3 are correct, then please try to connect your Instagram Business Account from the Social Accounts tab of Calendar Settings
