The Passed status appears when the scheduled time and date for a post has passed because the post was not scheduled in time.

The post must be in the Scheduled status, prior to the scheduled time, in order for the post to be published.

Otherwise, the post will automatically be updated to the Passed status if it is in either the Draft, Requires Edit, Pending for Approval, or Approved status.
