Updated over a week ago

Do you often browse the web and find content that you would like to save in Loomly?

If so, you can use Loomly's Zapier integration with Pocket to create Quick Posts in Loomly from items you save in Pocket!

Set up a Zap to have your new items in Pocket saved as a Quick Post

1. Create a Zapier Account (if you already have one, jump to Step 2)

2. Create a Zap

  • Create a new Zap.

Zap Trigger setup

  • For Choose app & event, select Pocket for the app and New Item for the Trigger Event.

  • Click Continue.

  • Click Sign in to Pocket, then log in and authorize Zapier to choose your Pocket account.

  • Click Continue.

  • Click Test Trigger, then Continue.

Zap Action setup

  • For Choose app & event, select Loomly for the app and Create Quick Post for the Trigger Event.

  • Click Sign in to Loomly, then log in and authorize Zapier to choose your Loomly account.

  • Click Continue.

  • In the Set up Action step of your Zap, please complete the following:

    • Select the Loomly Calendar where you would like Quick Posts created.

    • Select Time Added from the drop-down options for the Date field.

    • Select Resolved Titled from the drop-down options for the Subject field.

    • Select Resolved URL from the drop-down options for the Copy field.

    • Select True for the social media platforms where you would like Quick Posts created, and select False for the remaining social media platforms.

  • Click Continue.

  • Click Skip Test on the bottom right.

  • Publish your Zap, then click Publish & Turn On.

3. Creating Quick Posts from Pocket

  • Save new items to your Pocket list by using Pocket's browser extension or by saving new items from Pocket's Discover page.

  • Once you add a new item, you will see a Draft post created in your calendar.

  • You can reschedule the post to a different date and time, and schedule it so it publishes from Loomly.
