How do I create a carousel post?

Learn how to create & schedule carousel posts for Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn PDF.

Loomly allows you to publish multiple image posts to Facebook, Instagram, X/Twitter, and LinkedIn. Carousel posts are supported for Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn, but please note they significantly differ in specifications.

Facebook Carousels

What is a Facebook carousel?

Facebook carousels allows viewers to click through 2-5 different images, or "frames". Each frame can have a unique title and link.

How do I create a Facebook carousel in Loomly?

  • Create a post as you normally would with 2-5 images uploaded

  • Select the Carousel toggle option in the Fine-Tune Content step for Facebook

  • Add a Carousel Link, which is the link in the final frame

  • Click open media settings (gear icon), then enter the Link URL and Link Title for each image

📝Note:

  • A minimum of 2 and a maximum of 5 images are supported for Facebook carousel posts.

Instagram Carousels

What is an Instagram carousel?

Instagram carousels are a combination of up to 10 images and videos in a single feed post.

How do I create an Instagram carousel in Loomly?

  • Create a post as you normally would

  • If you would like to add more than one video, please upload additional videos in the Fine-Tune Content step for Instagram. You can also change the order of your media files.

  • Then choose to schedule, send for approval, save as a draft, or publish now

LinkedIn Carousels

What is a LinkedIn carousel post?

A LinkedIn carousel is a PDF post that allows viewers to swipe through the different pages of the PDF.

How do I create a LinkedIn PDF carousel in Loomly?

  • Create a post as you normally would

  • Upload a document or add PDFs from the Library, Google Drive, or a URL.

  • You can also import Canva designs as PDFs into the Library before adding them in Post Builder

  • In Fine-Tune Content, you can preview the carousel post and add a document title by clicking the gear icon next to the document

  • Then choose to schedule, send for approval, save as a draft, or publish now
