Picking up from individuals is typically a bit easier than picking up from retailers. Generally, a pickup truck is sufficient for these pick-ups since individuals have an average of 2 items to remove.
For liability reasons, we cannot ask customers to help move an item out of their house. Because of this, we recommend teams of two for larger items like sectionals, couches, and couch sets. Teams of two help ensure the item is removed quickly without damaging the customer's property.
If you don't have a helper or are unsure if you can remove an item safely by yourself then we recommend declining the pickup.
