A workspace holds your tables. All workspaces in an organization share one wallet.
Where do I see my workspaces?
Open Settings, then Workspaces. A box at the top says: "Your wallet is shared between all workspaces. You can limit how much a specific workspace may spend in its settings." It shows your Wallet balance and Add funds.
Below it, Workspaces lists a count and a table with Workspace, Spent and Spend limit. A limit shows as No limit or as an amount. The workspace you are in is marked Current. You can search with Search workspaces.
Each row has a three-dot menu with Set spend limit, Go to workspace settings and Delete workspace. Delete workspace is disabled for the workspace you are in.
How do I create a workspace?
Click Create a new workspace. A window opens: "Added to your organization — it shares your plan and wallet."
Fill in Workspace name ("You can change this name later.").
Set Workspace spend limit, or leave "No limit to how much this workspace can spend".
Under Members, invite people if you want ("Separate addresses with a comma"), and choose their role.
Click Create workspace.
In the Members box, one role menu applies to every address you type. It offers Member and Editor, and Member is selected when the window opens. There is no Admin or Owner option.
Member: "View-only access to workspace tables and projects. Cannot edit data."
Editor: "Can create, edit, and run tables, agents, and workflows. Cannot manage members or billing."
On the right of the window, a summary shows Workspace name, Spend limit and Members. Before you fill anything in, it reads "No limit" and "None yet".
How do I set or change a spend limit?
Click a workspace in the list to open its settings. The page shows Name, Spend limit (with Set spend limit), Spent and Add funds, then Workspace members and API Keys. At the bottom is Delete workspace.
What does the spend limit window show?
Click Set spend limit on the workspace's settings page, or choose it from a row's three-dot menu. Both open the same window, Configure spend limit.
The window shows:
A subtitle: "How much <workspace name> may spend from the shared wallet."
Spent, with an amount.
A switch, Workspace spend limit. When it is on, the hint says "Limit how many dollars this workspace can spend from the wallet".
A box for the amount, with a $ sign in front. The window also says "This workspace's spend limit will be set to $….", and the amount follows what you type.
Cancel and Save. Save stays disabled until you change something.
Turn the switch off and the hint becomes "No limit to how much this workspace can spend", and the amount box goes away.
The window does not name a period, such as per month. It does not say what happens when the limit is reached.
How do I switch workspaces?
Click your avatar at the top right. The menu lists your workspaces. A tick marks the current one. It also has Create workspace, Settings, Account, Billing and Log out.
Good to know
Only the limit is per workspace. The wallet and the plan are shared.
Through the API, a call that would start paid work can be refused with a 402 and the code
workspace_limit. That means the workspace's own spend limit leaves less than the wallet holds. Nothing is created, queued or charged. See Get started with the Loopster API, Use, rotate and revoke a Loopster API key and API limits, errors and retries.Delete workspace is at the bottom of its settings page. Check before you use it.
Delete workspace is disabled for the workspace you are in. Hover it and the app says "Switch to another workspace first".
The button has no text beside it about tables, members, API keys or funds.
