Members are the people who can open a workspace.
How do I invite someone?
Open Settings, then Members. The page says "Manage members and invitations for this workspace."
Under Workspace Members, find "Invite someone to this workspace by email address".
Type the email address.
Choose a role: Admin, Editor or Member.
Click Send Invite.
What does each role mean?
The role menu has a line under each role. It starts on Member.
Admin: "Full access. Can manage members, billing, API keys, and edit all data."
Editor: "Can create, edit, and run tables, agents, and workflows. Cannot manage members or billing."
Member: "View-only access to workspace tables and projects. Cannot edit data."
The same three lines show in the Change Role menu on a member's row.
The role menu has no line for Owner. If you are unsure whether someone can top up the wallet, set a spend limit, create an API key or delete a workspace, ask your admin.
What does the page list?
A line shows how many members are active and how many invitations are pending, for example "3 active members • 1 pending invitation". Each row has the person's name, email and role. You are marked (You). Rows show roles such as Owner, Admin and Editor. Member is a role too. An invitation that has not been accepted shows Invitation pending, its role and Pending.
How do I change a role, remove someone or cancel an invitation?
The Admin and Editor rows each have a button with three dots. Its menu has:
A Change Role heading with Admin, Editor and Member, each with its description. The person's current role is marked Current, and you cannot pick it.
Transfer Ownership. It shows on the Admin row but not on the Editor row.
Remove Member.
The Owner row has no such button.
A pending invitation has one control, an X button that cancels the invitation. It has no button to send the invitation again and no way to change its role.
Read the text on the page before you click an item.
Can I invite people when I create a workspace?
Yes. The Create a new workspace window has a Members box. See the article on workspaces and spend limits.
Separate the addresses with a comma. One role menu applies to all of them. It offers Member and Editor, with the same descriptions as above. It has no Admin option.
Is there another place to invite people?
Yes. A workspace's own settings page has an invite form too. Open Settings, then Workspaces, and click the workspace. Under Workspace members you see:
An email box and a role menu that starts on Member.
A button called Invite members. On the Members page the button is called Send Invite.
Two roles only, Member and Editor. There is no Admin option.
A table with Workspace members and Role columns. The roles are plain text. A person who has not accepted yet has a small Invited tag.
The rows in that table have no buttons. You cannot change a role, remove someone or cancel an invitation there. Use the Members page for that.
Good to know
Invitations are sent by email. Check the address before you send.
The invite menu describes Admin, Editor and Member in one line each. See "What does each role mean?" above. Owner has no line there.
