Earning Referral Fees

You can earn referral fees by referring managers or users to Lore. Referral fees are calculated as a percentage of Lore’s platform fees (not manager fees) and vary by transaction type. Below is a clear explanation of how referral fees work:

How To Get Started

🤑 Referral Program (Managers Only): As a manager, anyone you covert to bring onto Lore when Inviting them to Lore.

We are tracking this already and launching an official referral program where you earn a portion of the fees Lore generates on anyone you refer. We will surface all of this soon in the app! Keep recruiting people into your Funds!

How It Works:

  • First, apply for a manager invite code (apply here).

  • Then copy your Invite Members to Fund link.

  • And share it in your group chat

General Rules

  • Referrers earn up to 50% of Lore’s platform fees for transactions involving referred managers or users.

  • Fees are based on current managers (past managers are excluded).

  • Manager-specific fees (e.g., performance carry, manager portions of funding rounds, swaps, or exits) are not eligible for referral earnings.

🤑 Get Started: Apply for a manager invite code (apply here) Copy your link, spread the word wherever your network thrives.

Yes, there will be fees for using Lore, but they haven’t been implemented yet.

This is what we are thinking.

Funding Rounds

  • Referral Earnings: 50% of Lore’s 1% platform fee, split among referrers of current managers.

  • Example:

    • Three managers: Manager A (referred by User D), Manager B (no referrer), Manager C (referred by User E).

    • Lore’s 1% fee is split: 50% ($0.005 per $1 raised) goes to referrers.

    • Since Manager B has no referrer, Lore keeps their share.

    • User D and User E each earn 1/3 of 50% of 1% (approximately 0.167% of funds raised per referrer).

    • For a $100,000 funding round, User D and User E each earn $167.

Distributions

  • Referral Earnings: 50% of Lore’s 2% platform fee, split among referrers of current managers.

  • Split Pattern: Same as funding rounds.

    • Example: For a $50,000 distribution, Lore’s fee is $1,000. Referrers split 50% ($500), so User D and User E each earn $167 (1/3 of $500, assuming the same manager setup).
      Swap Fees (Funds)

Swap Fees (Funds)

  • Referral Earnings: 50% of Lore’s 0.7% platform fee, based on the manager executing the swap proposal.

  • Example: For a $10,000 swap, Lore’s fee is $70. The referrer of the executing manager earns 50% ($35).

Swap Fees (Users)

  • Referral Earnings: 50% of Lore’s 1% platform fee, based on the user executing the swap proposal.

  • Example: For a $5,000 user swap, Lore’s fee is $50. The user's referrer earns 50% ($25).

Performance (Carry)

  • Referral Earnings: None

  • Note: Performance fees are manager-specific and not part of Lore’s platform fees, so referrers earn nothing.

Member Exit

  • Referral Earnings: None

  • Note: No referral fees are earned to discourage referring members who may exit early.

By referring others, you’re helping Lore become the go-to onchain fund platform. Soon, everyone on Lore will be able to refer. Join us on X for updates, and see how significant your impact can be!
