What is an Adventure Activity?

Adventure Activities are experiences at Love Trails that require booking in advance, and cost a bit extra. Some Adventure Activities take place at the festival site (no transport required), others take place at various locations around the Gower Peninsula, and they include a minibus transfer there & back, which is included in the cost. In most cases, Adventure Activities are hosted by trusted third party activity providers and you will be asked to sign a disclaimer with them on arrival before undergoing the activity with them.

How It Works:

1) Meet your group at the bus pick up point at the festival site. Make sure you're at least 40 minutes before your activity start time! All the details will be in your e-ticket.

2) Hop on your minibus to the activity. This will be a beautiful location in the Gower Peninsula!

3) Meet your instructors and enjoy your session with our trusted third party activity partner and their qualified instructors. Most equipment is included (but please check the details on your e-ticket for more details)

4) Hop on the mini-bus transfer back to the festival site (approx 20-30 mins)

*Please note activities like Foraging & Run to Wine Tasting do not require transport, and you'll meet the group at the activity. Details will be provided in the E-Ticket.

When & where to meet your group:

You'll meet your group at the Love Trails Adventure Bus stop located here: verifying.fools.printer. Your bus will leave 40 minutes before your session start time. For example, if your surf lesson is 12:00 - 14:00, your bus will depart from the Bus Stop at 11:20 to ensure you get to the activity on time. Please arrive at the bus stop 10 minutes before the bus departure!

Below is an example from our 2024 site, which is subject to change for 2025:

How do I book an Adventure Activity?

For more information about all the adventures, you can explore them here. Each page includes a 'Book Now' button to book. Choose your activity, then choose your day and time slot.

What equipment is provided and what should I bring?

All equipment when you arrive at the activity is included! For example, Coasteering includes wetsuit, helmet, and lifejacket. You can check full details of what's included here.

In all cases, please wear what you feel comfortable in for the type of activity you have booked. We recommend taking a rucksack/ small bag with any extra bits you might need for the day. Pack plenty of snacks, water, suncream, and any extra layers you think you'll need for the day.

Extra items to bring/wear:

Full details will be sent in your E-Ticket around 7 days before the festival. Here's an example of some extra items you may need:

Surfing - a towel and swimsuit/shorts to wear under your wetsuit

Climbing - suitable shoes you can climb in (climbing shoes are not issued) and a warm layer!

Coasteering - a towel and swimsuit/shorts to wear under your wetsuit

Sea Kayaking - warm layers and a towel and swimsuit/shorts

SUP - a towel and swimsuit / shorts.

Foraging - suitable shoes for walking & exploring!

Minimum Ages

Please note that the minimum ages vary depending on each activity. In all cases, anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult, and they need to be comfortable taking part in the activity.

The minimum ages allowed to take part in each activity are expected to be:

Surfing - Min age: 10*

Climbing / Abseiling - Min age: 10*

Coasteering - Min age: 10*

Wine Tasting - Min age: 18

*Please note in some cases, weather may affect the activity and therefore affect the minimum age. In all cases, children must be accompanied by an adult and only take part in the activity with permission and supervision by the adult.
