If you resign (including in case of voluntary redundancy) within 3 months of taking delivery of the car, and the contract cannot be novated to your new employer or anyone else within your current employer, your employer may be liable to pay an early termination charge levied by the leasing company. Please note that this could be up to 50% of the gross rental over the remaining leasing term.

By way of example, if your monthly gross rent is set at £500 for a 36 month term, if you terminate after month 2, it is likely that your early termination charge could be up to £8,500 (£500 x 34 months x 50%).

Please note that your employer has the right to deduct sums equivalent to the early termination charges from your salary in accordance with the terms of this Handbook.
