Here is our step-by-step guide for ordering and receiving your electric car:
Step 1 - select your car, term and mileage and obtain a quote from the app. Please remember that our quote is based on your salary, and no other factors which may impact the cost to you or your tax position.
Step 2 – discuss your desire to use an electric car through this scheme with your employer who will advise if they give their consent for you to proceed.
Step 3 - you will review and sign your Driver Order Form and this Handbook and amendment to your employment contract (to sacrifice salary). Please read these carefully and ensure you understand them fully.
Step 4 - we will review your request and confirm whether you meet the eligibility requirements and if there are no issues, we will authorise your order with our vehicle leasing partner.
Step 5 - we will place the order and confirm to you that this has been done. You may be liable for cancellation charges if you cancel after this time.
Step 6 - we will keep you updated on when you can expect the car to be delivered. Please note that delivery dates are subject to manufacturer lead- times. If there are significant changes to your delivery date, we will let you know.
Step 7 - Love Electric (or the dealership) will contact you when your car arrives in stock to arrange delivery or collection.
Step 8 - you collect or receive delivery of the car. Enjoy!
When you are within the last 6 months of the contract term, we will contact you to discuss the return of your current car and whether you’d like to order a new car.
