You and your additional drivers will be added to our fleet insurance policy. You can find the details of the policy here:

To be covered under our fleet insurance, and therefore be eligible to participate in the scheme, you must meet the eligibility criteria as set out in this Handbook and the criteria as determined by the insurance company.

All information provided to us must be complete, accurate and up to date, as far as you are aware. It is your responsibility to ensure that the information provided regarding named drivers is also correct.

If you give false or incomplete information, and you do this deliberately, you will no longer be insured to use the car, and you may have to pay us resultant costs. You are also responsible for advising us of any change in circumstances during the term which could affect the insurance.

The policy does not provide you with insurance to drive any other vehicle.

You need to promptly notify us and the leasing company of any material damage to or loss of the vehicle and you shall promptly make an insurance claim for the cost of repair or replacement of the vehicle and if asked, shall provide the leasing company a copy of the claim. If you fail to make an insurance claim, the leasing company is authorised to make any claim on your and your employer’s behalf and settle such claim. Payments by the insurance company shall be made to the leasing company except where you discharged repair costs in which case reimbursement will be made by the insurance company directly to you/your employer.

If there is an insurance claim, you are responsible for payment of the excess and any other charges not covered by insurance. This payment will be collected by the repairer of the vehicle, or deducted from your salary through payroll.

If you have any queries regarding the insurance coverage, or wish to make any changes, please contact our insurance broker Lloyd Latchford Group directly at 01844 276 498 or salarysacrifice@lloydlatchford.co.uk.

Please note that you will not accrue a “no claims bonus” whilst participating in the scheme. If you leave the scheme, our insurance broker can provide you with a letter, on request, confirming your accident history during the scheme. Many insurance companies accept this when considering no claims continuity, subject to the detail of the history.

You agree to indemnify your employer and us for any costs, claims or damages arising that are not covered by your vehicle insurance or as a result of your breaching of terms or criteria of your insurance policy including claims made by the leasing company in case of theft, loss or damage to the car however arising, and for any loss caused by diminution to the value of the car due to theft, accident or damage and against all claims and demands made against the leasing company by reason of any loss, injury or damage however arising, suffered by any person, directly or indirectly out of the use of the car of any defects therein or any breakdown or accident.
