Please follow this process if you have insurance through LLG.

If you are in an accident, make sure to stop the car immediately and get all passengers to a safe place. Then you must notify the emergency services of any injuries requiring emergency medical treatment, and ask for police assistance (if needed). Police assistance may be needed where someone has been injured, the cars are causing a road hazard, or if the traffic signs or road markings have been damaged.

When leaving the car, please ensure it is secured, if possible, and that the hazard lights are on. Please report the incident to the insurance company as soon as possible using 01844276498 or 0343 515 8804 if you are outside of working hours.

You will then be directed to the underwriter for the insurance policy to log the claim details. Following this, you will be directed to an approved repairer, for the car to be repaired, the claim excess will be payable upon collection of the repaired car. (£250 for damage claims, £75 for glass claims) VAT should not be charged to you as it is a salary sacrifice policy.

Under no circumstances should you admit liability or blame at the scene of the accident. Make sure to take a note of all car registrations (plus make and model details) and names and addresses of all vehicles and individuals involved. Please also take a note of the parties’ insurance details and any witnesses to the accident.

When providing your own information to others at the scene, please provide only your name, address, registration, insurer name and address and policy number.
