You can generate an Unsubscribe Link that will be automatically included in Outreach Campaign emails sent from Loxo. Enabling the unsubscribe link means your candidates and clients would have the option to remove themselves from your mailing list, which complies with outreach proven practices and promotes email deliverability.
The unsubscribe link will automatically be attached to any Campaign Emails or bulk emails with 10 or more recipients once the setting is enabled.
Turn on Automatic Email Unsubscribe
The automatic Email Unsubscribe feature has become a necessary part of managing strong deliverability rates and ultimately good domain health. Loxo makes it easy by offering automatic email unsubscribe links that can be used across your whole team in Loxo.
Note: an account admin will have to enable Unsubscribe Links for the links to be generated in your emails. See Step 5 below.
To set up your Email Unsubscribe Template, follow the steps below:
Go into your Settings and choose 'My Email.'
Select the 'Preferences' tab at the top.
Find the "Unsubscribe links" section, where you will see a pre-populated unsubscribe message. You are able to utilize any messaging you would like here, but the bracketed tag itself must be present, and the linked text (the word "here" in the example below) must be a single word.
Changes will be saved automatically.
To enable the option to generate the unsubscribe links in emails, account admins can go to Settings > Compliance > Outreach and toggle the setting ON.
If you wish to disable the unsubscribe links instead, follow the same path (Settings > Compliance > Outreach) and toggle the setting OFF.
Recipients who click the Unsubscribe Link are automatically excluded from receiving further correspondence from that particular sender.
Please note: This feature applies only to emails sent within Loxo. Loxo Unsubscribe does not interact with any email communication outside of your Loxo account. External emails will not be impacted by a Loxo Unsubscribe.
Edit Automatic Email Unsubscribe Messaging
You can customize the text that accompanies the automatic unsubscribe link. Follow the steps below to modify the language for unsubscribe links in your Loxo Outreach.
Go to Settings > My Email > Preferences to view the unsubscribe template text box.
You can utilize any messaging you would like here, but the bracketed tag itself must be present. The "here" portion can be any wording you would prefer, but the brackets and
unsubscribe_link:portions must remain.
Examples:Please click to {{unsubscribe_link:unsubscribe}}.
If you would like to opt out of receiving further email communication from me, you can click {{unsubscribe_link:here}}.
To unsubscribe, please {{unsubscribe_link:click}} here.
Opt out of receiving future emails by clicking {{unsubscribe_link:here}}.
This will save automatically once changes have been made.

Example Unsubscribe Confirmation
When an unsubscribe link is included in your Loxo emails and recipients click on the link, they will be redirected to a page that shows they have successfully unsubscribed. The recipient's email address will be listed, as well as the sender's email address from whom they have unsubscribed.
If the recipient changes their mind or the link was clicked in error, they will see a button to "Resubscribe." Clicking here will allow them to receive emails from the sender again. Once resubscribed, the option to unsubscribe will become available again.
