LPagery allows you to add new pages to an existing page set without creating a new set from scratch. This is done by updating the source file or data source and ensuring the new rows generate unique slugs.

This feature is available for the LPagery Extended plan and above.

How to Add New Pages

  1. Start the Update Process

    • A) From the Dashboard Menu:

      • Click on “Update Pages” in the top menu of the LPagery dashboard.

      • Choose the pages you want to update by selecting their template page and the specific Page Set you want to update.

    • B) From the Manage Section:

      • Go to “Manage” in the LPagery dashboard.

      • Locate the page set you wish to update.

      • Click the menu icon (three dots) next to the page set.

      • Select “Update Pages” from the dropdown menu.

Once you’ve started the update process, you’ll be prompted to select the type of update you want to perform.

  2. Select Update Content

    • Choose the Update Content option.

    • This ensures that new rows in the source file will generate new pages.

  3. Upload the Updated Source File

    • If you're using a CSV/XLSX file, add new rows to the file and upload it.

    • For Google Sheets or Radius, update the relevant data (e.g., add new rows for cities or services).

    • Ensure the slugs for the new rows are unique to avoid overwriting existing pages.

  4. Review Changes

    • LPagery will display a summary of the updates, highlighting the new pages that will be created with a "+".

    • Confirm the changes and proceed to create the new pages.

What Happens During Update Content?

  • New Pages: Rows with slugs that don’t already exist in the page set will generate new pages.

  • Updated Pages: If a row has a slug matching an existing page in the set, the corresponding page will be updated with the new data in the file.

  • Unchanged Pages: Pages that are not included in the uploaded file will remain unchanged.

Example

Original Source File:

Service

City

Window Cleaning

Manhattan

Floor Cleaning

Brooklyn

Updated Source File:

Service

City

Window Cleaning

Manhattan

Floor Cleaning

Brooklyn

Carpet Cleaning

Queens

  • In this example, a new row is added for Carpet Cleaning in Queens.

  • LPagery detects the new row and generates a new page for it.

Key Points to Remember

  • Ensure the new rows in your source file have unique slugs.

  • Existing pages with the same slug will not be duplicated; only new slugs will result in new pages.

  • Use Update Content mode to add new pages without affecting existing ones.
