Consistency
The Consistency Percentage tracks a traders ability to earn profits over multiple sessions. This demonstrates a that a trader has and can adhere to a risk management strategy.
The Calculation
In LucidFlex evaluation accounts your Consistency Percentage must be 40% or less to be eligible to upgrade to a LucidFlex funded account. If you added the 50% consistency add-on at checkout, it must be 50% or less.
Use the following formula to determine if you are adhering to the Consistency Percentage:
Largest Single Day Profit / Account Profit = Consistency Percentage
Example
You trade your $50k LucidFlex evaluation account and your Largest Single Day Profit was $750 when you reached the $3,000 profit target. Plug the values into the above formula.
$750 / $3,000 = 25%
Congratulations, you are under the 40% requirement (and the 50% add-on). You may now upgrade to a LucidFlex funded account. If your largest day had been more than your limit (40%, or 50% with the add-on), you would keep trading until your largest day is back within it.
Cushion with the 50% Add-on
There is a small cushion built into the 50% consistency add-on so that traders that are super eager to pass in two days can do so. However, taking your time to reach your profit target is the best approach.
Please see below for an example of how the cushion works.
Account Size | Profit Target | 50% Consistency | Cushion |
25k Flex | $1,250 | $625 | $650.00 |
50k Flex | $3,000 | $1,500 | $1,560.00 |
100k Flex | $6,000 | $3,000 | $3,120.00 |
150k Flex | $9,000 | $4,500 | $4,680.00 |
Important: This is merely an example table based on hitting exactly 50% of your profit target. The cushion is a percentage calculated on what your actual profit earned is for the day and will vary from trader to trader.
It is NOT a fixed dollar amount for all scenarios. The actual dollar amount is dependent on how much profit you earned on your biggest day.
Consistency at Live Account Status
Once promoted to Live account status, the consistency requirement no longer applies. The consistency requirement (40%, or 50% with the add-on) applies only during the evaluation stage.
