From time to time, a competitor gets disqualified before the race begins. This happens for a variety of reasons. Sometimes the virtual competitor has a virtual argument with a virtual rule keeper and gets disqualified. Other times they're deemed ineligible due to cheating. You know, all the normal things that happen when you're dealing with computer generated competitors!
We still let them run the race though, as long as they agree not to finish 1st, 2nd, or 3rd. Surprisingly, they always agree.
So no need to worry about your wagers. They won't be affected by any disqualified participants. And if something goes terribly wrong and one of them does end up in a winning position, don't worry, we'll refund your wager.
