Why Is My Withdrawal Delayed? (AML Checks)

What compliance checks are, why they exist, and what to do if you're flagged.

Written by Jacob

Occasionally a withdrawal is held for a compliance review. Here's what's happening behind the scenes — and why it's usually resolved quickly.

What is this check?

AML (Anti-Money-Laundering) checks confirm that money moving through the platform is legitimate. Every licensed betting operator runs them — they're part of what keeps the platform safe to hold your money in the first place.

Why was my withdrawal flagged?

Common triggers, none of which mean you did anything wrong:

  • A first withdrawal, or a much larger withdrawal than usual.

  • Depositing and then withdrawing with little or no betting in between — a classic laundering pattern, so it's flagged automatically for review.

  • Mismatched account names between your bank and your profile.

What should I do?

  • Check your notifications. If we need any information from you, it will say exactly what.

  • Send what's asked promptly — the review can't finish without it.

  • Wait for the review. Most complete within a few hours.

  • Contact support if it exceeds that — we'll tell you the exact status. We don't do runarounds.

Being flagged is not an accusation. The overwhelming majority of reviews end with the withdrawal approved and paid.
