CPE is required for CPAs and other similarly designated professionals to maintain their designation and stay current with industry standards.

Are LumiQ podcasts considered self-study?
Yes. LumiQ offers CPE Credit through a QAS Self-Study format.
How is CPE calculated for QAS Self-Study?
CPE credit for QAS Self-Study in podcast format is determined by a formula that combines the time to finish all episode components. This includes time spent listening, completing chapter quizzes, and taking the final assessment.
These times are added together, and the total is divided by 50 to determine the number of CPE credits awarded. The formula is prescribed by NASBA in the Statement on Standards for CPE Programs.

Can LumiQ confirm that the episode content fulfills specific CPE or Continuing Education (CE) requirements, such as the California Fraud requirement?
While LumiQ offers episodes that may meet various CPE/CE requirements, users are responsible for confirming if an episode satisfies their specific jurisdiction's definition of acceptable continuing education.

Do other accounting and finance designations accept LumiQ CPE Credit?
Many accounting and finance designations accept CPE from NASBA-approved providers, including self-study formats.
Because LumiQ is a NASBA-approved QAS Self-Study provider and includes learning objectives, assessments, and certificates of completion, it generally meets the core requirements used by many governing bodies.
This may include roles such as internal auditors, finance professionals, and other credential holders.
Final acceptance depends on the specific requirements of each designation, so we recommend confirming with your governing body.
Is LumiQ CPE Credit accepted everywhere?
