If you have followed the steps in determining why your valve is not tracking flow and need to either clean or replace your flow impeller, follow the steps below;
Remove the wetware and dome from the manifold
Remove the flow conditioner from the wetware by using pliers, your finger, or a small hook tool
Remove the flow impeller by;
Gently tapping the valve unit on a soft surface with the impeller side down until the impeller falls out, or;
Use a hook implement to pull the impeller out by the crossbar, ensuring it does not damage the moving parts
Spin the impeller to see if it spins freely as it should spin freely with ease. If it does not spin freely. Check for debris;
If there is debris in the impeller, carefully clean it under running water while slowly spinning to release the debris from the collar
If the flow impeller still does not spin freely, is deformed, or still does not track flow, replace the impeller by pushing a new one into the impeller seat with the cone pointing towards the incoming water.
