Queries via the Lumonic Excel plugin or API require the use of our entity ids. There are a few ways to quickly find company entity ids:
Download full list in-app(recommended for excel)
Use List Entities API (recommended for API users)
Excel Add-in Sidebar
The Excel add-in includes a formula builder that can auto populate Ids for your formulas one at a time.
Open Lumonic Add-in Tab
Click "Sidebar"
Enter a company name in the "entity id" box
Enter any metric and date
Click "copy" at the bottom of the sidebar
Paste into any cell
See entity id in the formula bar
URL
Lumonic URLs use our entity Ids so you can quickly grab an id for any page you visit.
Click on a company
look at URL
Select portion after "/entities/"
Download In-app
You can easily download all company Ids in a spreadsheet. This is the recommended option for most who will be building dynamic excel models.
Click on the Library icon in the left sidebar
Click "Entities"
Click the download icon in the upper right hand corner of the table
