What to Do if Your Deliverable isn't Saving

Updated over 6 months ago

When working with deliverables, you might encounter certain errors that prevent you from saving. This guide will walk you through some common issues and how to resolve them.

1. Conditional Block Without Comparator

Ensure that every conditional block has a valid comparator (e.g., greater than, equal to) so that it functions correctly.

Solution:

  • Review your conditional block setup and make sure each block includes a comparator.

2. First Assignment Date

This error usually occurs when the first assignment date is missing in the schedule tab.

Solution:

  • Navigate to the schedule tab and confirm that the first assignment date is filled out.

3. Empty title

If your deliverable’s name is empty, it won’t save properly.

Solution:

  • Double-check the name field of the deliverable and ensure it's not left blank.

4. Blocks Linked to Identical Metrics or Covenants

Deliverables may fail to save when blocks are linked to identical metrics or covenant, which include a combination of property, scenario, period type, and effective date modifier.

Solution:

  • Verify that no two blocks are writing to identical metrics or covenant with identical modifiers.
