These pages are your best resource for exploring how specific design elements show up in the market.

You’ll typically see:

  • Definition of the tag - A quick summary of what the feature, theme, or vibe means and how it influences gameplay or narrative.

    Example (Action): Action games demand the player's attention. They might require lightning-quick reflexes to burst through whatever stands in their way. Any momentary lapse in concentration, and they may find themselves eating dirt.


  • Usage Stats – See how many games use this tag, along with total player counts and market share.

    • Games: Total number of titles using the tag.

    • Category Rank: The tag's standing within its category.

    • Players (24 hrs): Total active players across all games with this tag in the last day.

    • Market Share: The percentage of the market captured by this specific tag.


  • Player Trends Graph – Understand how interest in this tag has evolved over time. Use the metric selector to toggle between different data points including:

    • Player Count

    • Wishlist

    • DAU (Daily Active Users)

    • MAU (Monthly Active Users)

    • Copies Sold

    • Revenue
