First, ensure you are using either a MIDI keyboard or Digital Audio Workstation (DAW) with CUBE. CUBE cannot produce sound on its own and needs MIDI input.
Check that you are using a proper audio driver and buffer size. We do not recommend using the default Windows Audio Driver and CUBE requires a buffer size that’s a multiple of 8 (like 128, 256, 512, 1024, etc).
Install the latest audio drivers for your device. Out-of-date audio drivers can cause CUBE to be unable to produce sound.
Run the standalone version of CUBE. If the standalone version produces sound, then the issue is likely with the audio driver you have selected in your DAW. Try changing to a different driver, or updating to the latest version of your audio drivers.
If you continue to have issues, please try a complete re-install of CUBE. You can do this by deleting the following folders:
Warning: Be sure to back up your presets and any presets you've favorited by navigating to the CUBE/User Presets folder and copying db.json and the User folder to another location, such as your desktop.
Once you reinstall CUBE, replace these in the original location and overwrite.
