LVLup helps you quickly uncover profitable player props by avoiding mathematically bad bets through the use of our advanced data models.
This guide will help you get value from the app within your first few minutes, just follow each step and you’ll know exactly how to start making smarter, data-backed decisions.
Step 1: Discover our Top Props
Start on the Home tab, where you’ll see the top prop categories updated daily. These include:
LVLup Score – The props our algorithm likes best, ranked by LVLup Score (our overall confidence and value rating).
Low-Odds Value – Safer, more consistent plays.
High-Odds Value – Longer shots with strong long-term profitability.
Trending – Bets that have performed well recently with high hit rates over the last 10 games.
Tap any prop to see more details and start exploring.
Step 2: Use Prop Explorer
Head to the Prop Explorer tab to look up any player or prop. You can search by player name, browse all available markets, and quickly find props you are interested in.
Use filters (market, odds range, LVLup Score, EV, and hit rates) to find edges that match your style, then tap any prop to open the full Bet Breakdown.
You can also use the games toggle to select a specific game or view all games to narrow your search.
Step 3: View the Bet Breakdown
Each prop card includes a full breakdown of key data points: Bet classification and unit suggestions, EV%, LVLup Score, win probability, matchup and minutes metrics, and odds comparisons.
These insights help you quickly see where the value lies and helps you with additional research before deciding to make a bet.
Step 4: Understand Bet Rationale
Every prop includes a short, clear explanation of why the model favours it or doesn’t. You’ll see a concise, data-backed rationale that breaks down what’s driving the edge, for example, recent player trends, matchup inefficiencies, or context-specific hit rates (such as how often a player clears their line using tonight’s context with projected minutes and injuries/lineups).
The rationale also incorporates additional factors such as warning flags, matchup adjustments, and game environment data like total points or spread. Together, these contextual elements help you understand why the model sees value beyond the raw numbers.
Step 5: Track Your Picks
Add bets to My Picks to stay organized. You can:
Add props to your Watchlist if you want to monitor them or set alerts for when new odds come out.
Add props to My Bets to have your betting performance automatically tracked.
Props move from My Bets to Bet Tracker once a bet is settled and 30 minutes have passed.
Tracking your results is key to understanding where you win most often and how your betting discipline improves over time.
