Navigating Contests

Put your player prop knowledge to the test, compete against the LVLup community, and play for real cash prizes.

What Are LVLup Contests?

LVLup Contests turn your everyday player prop research into competition.

Instead of simply researching and tracking bets, you can put your knowledge to the test against friends and other LVLup users, climb contest leaderboards, and compete for real cash prizes.

Contests are built around a simple idea: Discover great props. Research your picks. Prove you can beat the competition.

There are currently two LVLup contest formats:

  • Prop Pick’em – Make player prop predictions throughout the month and compete to finish with the most correct picks.

  • Prop Survivor – Make one eligible player prop pick each Contest Week. Get it right and survive. Get it wrong and you’re eliminated. Keep surviving to outlast the field.

Additional sports and contest formats are coming in the future.

Free vs. Premium Contests

LVLup Contests can be offered in two formats.

Free Contests

Free Contests are open to eligible LVLup users and do not require a Contest Entry to participate. Compete against other users, climb the Free Contest leaderboard, and play for the prizes listed for that contest.

Premium Contests

Premium Contests allow eligible users to compete on a separate leaderboard for a separate prize pool.

Eligible LVLup Premium subscription plans may include Contest Entries that can be redeemed to participate in Premium Contests.

When both versions are offered, you can participate in the Free Contest, Premium Contest, or both, subject to the applicable contest rules and eligibility requirements.

Contest availability, prize pools, entry requirements, and other details may vary by contest, so always check the contest page before entering.

Prop Pick’em

Think you know player props? Prop Pick’em gives you an entire month to prove it.

How It Works

  • You can submit up to 30 eligible player prop picks during the monthly contest.

  • Every correct pick earns 1 point.

  • At the end of the contest, the users with the most correct picks finish at the top of the leaderboard and compete for the available prizes.

Simple: Make your picks → Get them right → Climb the leaderboard → Compete to win.

What Picks Are Eligible?

For the current Prop Pick’em format:

  • Picks must be eligible over/under player props

  • Odds must fall between 1.85 and 2.30

  • Picks are evaluated using LVLup’s consensus line

  • Each pick locks shortly before the applicable game begins

  • You can edit, replace, or remove a pick before it locks

  • You can submit up to 30 Valid Scored Picks during the contest period

You don’t have to submit all 30 picks to participate, but every correct pick gives you another opportunity to climb the rankings.

How Pick’em Scoring Works

Pick’em rewards correct picks, not units won, ROI, or winning percentage.

Every correctly predicted eligible prop earns:

  • ✅ Correct Pick = 1 Point

  • Incorrect picks receive no points. Voided, pushed, cancelled, or otherwise non-scored picks do not count toward your 30 Valid Scored Picks. If there’s still time left in the contest, you may be able to replace the pick with another eligible selection.

Your position on the contest leaderboard is determined by your total number of correct picks.

What Happens If There’s a Tie?

If two or more users finish with the same number of correct picks, the first tiebreaker is the average odds of their Valid Scored Picks. The bettor whose qualifying picks had the higher average odds ranks higher. If users are still tied after the tiebreaker, the applicable prizes for the tied positions are combined and divided equally.

Follow Your Progress

You don’t have to wait until the end of the month to see how you’re doing.

Contest rankings update daily, so you can follow your position throughout the competition and see how you stack up against the rest of the community.

Final rankings are determined after the contest closes, and eligible picks have been graded. Prize-winning positions and prize amounts are shown on the applicable contest page.

Prop Survivor

One pick. One week at a time. How long can you survive?

Prop Survivor is LVLup’s elimination-style player prop contest.

Instead of accumulating points throughout the month, your goal is simple: make one winning player prop pick each Contest Week and survive longer than the competition.

How It Works

Each Contest Week, submit ONE eligible player prop pick.

  • ✅ Correct pick → Survive and advance

  • ❌ Incorrect pick → You’re eliminated

  • ⏰ No valid pick by the deadline → You’re eliminated

Keep getting your picks right and you’ll continue advancing week after week.

One bad pick — or one missed deadline — can end your run.

What Picks Are Eligible?

For the current NFL Prop Survivor format:

  • Picks must be eligible player Over/Under props

  • Odds must fall between 1.60 and 2.30

  • The prop must be designated as Survivor-eligible inside LVLup

  • You can select the same player in multiple Contest Weeks unless the applicable contest rules state otherwise

Always check the contest page for the eligible selections available for that Contest Week.

When Does My Pick Lock?

Your Survivor pick locks when the selected player’s game begins. Until that game starts, you can update or replace your selection.

Once your player’s game begins, your pick is locked and can no longer be changed.

This means different Survivor picks may have different lock times depending on when the selected player’s game is scheduled.

What Happens If My Pick Is Voided or Cancelled?

A voided, cancelled, pushed or otherwise non-scored selection does not automatically eliminate you. If the Contest Week is still open and another eligible selection is available, you may submit one replacement pick before the applicable lock time.

If you are unable to submit another valid selection before the Contest Week closes, you will be eliminated.

How Survivor Standings Work

Survivor isn’t about accumulating points. Your goal is simply to survive.

Each correct pick keeps you alive for another Contest Week. An incorrect pick or missed submission eliminates you. Your standing is therefore based on how long you survive relative to the rest of the field.

What Happens If Multiple Users Are Eliminated Together?

Users eliminated during the same Contest Week are tied.

If those users occupy prize-winning positions, the applicable prizes for those tied positions are combined and divided equally according to the Official Rules.

What If Multiple Users Survive the Regular Season?

If multiple users remain after the applicable NFL regular-season Contest Weeks, Survivor may continue into applicable postseason weeks.

If multiple participants remain after the final applicable postseason Contest Week, the applicable tied prizes are divided according to the Official Rules.

Can I Join Survivor After It Starts?

No. Prop Survivor has a defined entry period at the beginning of the contest. You must enter and submit your first eligible pick before the applicable entry deadline.

Once the entry window closes, no new users can join Survivor later in the season.

Always check the applicable contest page for the exact entry deadline and Contest Week schedule.

Pick’em vs. Survivor

The biggest difference is how you win.

  • Pick’em rewards consistency across multiple picks. Make up to 30 eligible selections and earn points for every correct pick. The users with the most points climb to the top.

  • Survivor is about staying alive. Make one eligible pick each Contest Week. Get it right and advance. Get it wrong, or miss your pick, and your run is over.

Why Compete?

Use LVLup to discover opportunities, research your selections, and then see how your process stacks up against the rest of the community.

Whether you’re entering a Free Contest or competing for Premium prizes, LVLup Contests give you an opportunity to put your player prop knowledge to the test.

Research your picks. Climb the rankings. Prove your game.
