Prop Survivor: How It Works

Prop Survivor: How It Works

Think you can survive the NFL season one prop at a time?

Prop Survivor is a weekly elimination contest where you submit one eligible player prop each Contest Week. Get your pick right and you survive to the next week. Get it wrong, or fail to submit a valid pick before the deadline, and you’re eliminated.

Outlast the field, climb the final standings, and compete for real cash prizes.

How to Play

1. Join the Contest

Head to the Contests tab and enter the current Prop Survivor contest.

Prop Survivor is a Premium contest. Entry requires one available Contest Entry.

Each Survivor contest has its own:

  • 🏆Prize pool

  • 👥Entrant list

  • 📆Contest schedule

  • 🎯Eligible picks

Once you’re entered, you compete until you’re eliminated or the contest ends.

2. Submit One Pick Each Contest Week

Each Contest Week, you must submit one eligible player prop to stay alive.

Eligible picks include:

  • Player Over/Under props

  • Odds between 1.60 and 2.30

  • Props designated as eligible for Survivor within the LVLup app

You only need one pick each Contest Week, but you must submit a valid pick before the weekly deadline.

No pick means elimination.

3. Get It Right to Survive

The Survivor format is simple:

  • ✅ Correct pick: You survive and advance to the next Contest Week.

  • ❌ Incorrect pick: You’re eliminated from the contest.

  • ⏰ No valid pick submitted: You’re eliminated.

Once you survive a Contest Week, wait for the next week to open and make your next selection.

The process continues until the contest is complete.

4. Picks Lock at Game Time

You can update or replace your pick before the selected player’s game begins.

Once that game starts, your pick is locked and can no longer be changed.

During regular-season Contest Weeks, you can submit a pick through the final Monday Night Football game, but remember that each pick locks when its own game begins.

For example, if you select a player in the Sunday 1:00 PM games, that pick will lock at the start of that game. You cannot change it afterward, even though the overall Contest Week remains open.

How Survivor Standings Work

Prop Survivor does not use points. Your standing is based entirely on how long you survive.

  • Players who survive to later Contest Weeks rank ahead of players eliminated earlier.

  • Players eliminated in the same Contest Week are tied.

  • Players who are still alive remain active in the contest and continue making weekly picks.

For example, a player eliminated in Contest Week 10 ranks ahead of a player eliminated in Contest Week 8.

The goal is simple: survive longer than everyone else.

What Happens If a Pick Is Voided?

Occasionally, a player prop may become:

  • Cancelled

  • Voided

  • Pushed

  • Removed from scoring

  • Otherwise ruled a non-scored pick

A void pick does not automatically eliminate you.

If the Contest Week is still open and another eligible pick is available:

  • Your original pick will be marked void.

  • You can submit one replacement pick.

  • Your replacement must be submitted before its applicable lock time.

If you do not submit a valid replacement before the Contest Week closes, you will be eliminated.

Leaderboards

The Survivor leaderboard lets you follow the field throughout the contest.

Use it to:

  • 🟢 See how many players are still alive

  • 🔴 See who has been eliminated

  • 📆 Follow the current Contest Week

  • 🏆 Track how far you’ve progressed relative to the field

During an active contest, players who are still alive are not ranked ahead of one another. They are all still competing.

Once players are eliminated, their standings are determined by the Contest Week in which they were eliminated.

Final standings are confirmed once the contest is complete.

Ties

If two or more players are eliminated during the same Contest Week, they finish tied.

If that tie includes prize-winning positions, the prizes for the positions occupied by the tied players are combined and divided equally.

For example: If two players tie for 2nd place and the prizes are:

  • 2nd: $500

  • 3rd: $250

The $750 combined prize would be divided equally, with each player receiving $375.

If every remaining player loses during the same Contest Week, those players tie for the highest remaining position and split the applicable remaining prizes.

How Long Does the Contest Last?

The contest continues until:

  • Only one participant remains alive, or

  • The final applicable postseason Contest Week has been completed.

If multiple players are still alive at the end of the NFL regular season, Survivor continues into the playoffs.

If multiple players remain alive after the final applicable postseason Contest Week, those players finish tied and the applicable prizes are divided according to the contest rules.

Winning Prizes

Prize pools vary from contest to contest.

Each contest page will display:

  • 🏆Prize pool

  • 💰Prize payouts

  • 👥 Number of entrants

  • 📆 Contest dates

  • ⏰ Entry and pick deadlines

  • 🎯 Any additional contest-specific requirements

If multiple players tie for paid positions, the applicable prizes are combined and divided equally.

Prize winners are contacted after final standings have been verified.

Tips for Success

There’s no guaranteed way to survive, but a few things can help:

  • Don't miss a Contest Week. Failing to submit a valid pick means elimination.

  • Give yourself time. Avoid leaving your pick until the last possible moment.

  • Research your props rather than guessing.

  • Use Discover to find potential opportunities.

  • Validate your selection with Bet Breakdown before submitting.

  • Keep an eye on your pick before game time. If circumstances change, you can update it before it locks.

You only need one correct pick each week. Make it count.

Frequently Asked Questions

How many picks do I submit?

One eligible player prop per Contest Week.

Do I have to submit a pick every week?

Yes.

If you fail to submit and confirm a valid eligible pick before the applicable weekly deadline, you are eliminated from the contest.

Can I change my pick?

Yes, as long as the pick has not locked.

You can update or replace your selection before that player’s game begins. Once the game starts, the pick cannot be changed.

When is the weekly pick deadline?

During the NFL regular season, picks can be submitted until Monday Night Football kickoff.

However, each individual pick locks when that player’s game begins.

Postseason Contest Weeks may use a different deadline, which will be displayed in the LVLup app.

What happens if my pick loses?

You are eliminated from the Survivor contest.

You can still view your full pick history and follow the remaining players on the leaderboard.

What happens if my pick is voided?

A void pick does not immediately eliminate you.

If the Contest Week is still open and another eligible pick is available, you can submit a replacement pick. If you do not submit a valid replacement before the Contest Week closes, you will be eliminated.

Can I pick the same player more than once during the contest?

Yes, unless the specific contest states otherwise.

You may select the same player during multiple Contest Weeks as long as the selected prop is eligible.

What happens if multiple players are eliminated in the same week?

They finish tied.

If the tied positions include prizes, the applicable prizes are combined and divided equally among the tied players.

What if more than one player survives the entire regular season?

The contest continues through the applicable NFL postseason until a winner is determined or the final applicable postseason Contest Week is completed.

Is Prop Survivor sports betting?

No.

Prop Survivor is a promotional, skill-based contest. No sports wager is placed through the contest itself.
