Acceptable Proof of Address Documents

Which documents can be accepted to verify an address

The document for Proof of Address must:

  • Clearly show your full name, residential address, and issue date

  • Be dated within the last three months

  • Have all four corners visible in the image

  • Be submitted in PDF format if sourced online

Acceptable as Proof of Address:

  • A utility bill (gas, electricity, water, landline, home internet, cable TV)

  • A mobile phone bill

  • A bank statement (not from a digital bank such as Revolut or N26)

  • A rental bill, home insurance, or health insurance document

  • A local authority tax bill, council tax bill, or other official government correspondence

  • A debt recovery letter, pension document, unemployment document, or traffic fine issued by an official authority

Not Acceptable as Proof of Address:

  • Salary slips

  • Medical or healthcare bills

  • Generic purchase invoices

  • Car or pet insurance documents

  • Bank statements from digital-only banks (Revolut, N26 etc)

  • Union documents
