Why might I use Lyrebird on multiple device?

Lyrebird is easily accessible on multiple devices to enable flexible solutions that cater to your specific requirements. Some clinicians use multiple devices for the following reasons:

  • Admin staff logged in for immediate transferral of consult / dictation into medical record.

  • Log into Lyrebird at home to complete dictations outside of hours.

  • Log into Lyrebird during ward rounds to complete dictations.

  • Log into Lyrebird on a laptop if practicing in a new location.

Note, you can only actively complete a consultation or dictation recording on one device at a time, so don't share your account with other clinicians.


How can I use Lyrebird on multiple devices?

Lyrebird can be used on your laptop, desktop computer or mobile device via an internet browser. We suggest using Google Chrome. You will need to ensure that you have a microphone and have granted permissions for your audio devices to be used.

Save your patient notes and documents for convenient retrieval later via the History page.
