The Shark Tank Student Room allows students to pitch an original invention or business idea to a “Shark” investor. The assistant evaluates the pitch by analyzing uniqueness, market potential, target audience, scalability, and financial viability. Before making an investment decision, the Shark asks thoughtful follow-up questions to challenge assumptions and clarify the student’s vision. The final investment decision includes a detailed rationale and incorporates feedback aligned to a persuasive writing rubric, helping students strengthen argumentation, evidence, organization, and clarity.
