If you want to update the “Reply-To” email address that customers see, you can update the “Reply-To” field from the Settings page in the app.
To fully remove the default sender name and email (“Magical Apps”) from emails sent to your customers, you’ll need to use a free SendGrid account. Here’s how to set it up:
Go to SendGrid.com and click “Start for Free.”
Create your account and verify your email and phone number.
Save your recovery code.
Click “Authenticate domain” under “Finish account setup” and follow the on-screen steps. Add the DNS records as instructed.
Verify your DNS records with SendGrid.
To get your API key in SendGrid:
In SendGrid, go to the Settings section and click on “API keys.”
Click “Create API Key,” give it a name, set the permissions, and click “Create & View.”
Copy the API key and keep it somewhere safe.
Final Step:
Return to the Settings page in our app, open Notifications, and enter your SendGrid details. This will let you send emails from your custom sender name and email address, so your customers will only see your store info, not “Magical Apps.”
