If you use the Function method in Magical Fees, Shopify may display technical “additional details” on your orders.
These details don’t affect fees or order calculations, and customers won't see them in email notifications, but they can clutter order pages or add unnecessary pages to printed invoices.
To keep your order pages clean, you can enable the Remove Additional Details Automatically feature.
How to Enable It
Go to your Shopify Admin > Apps > Magical Fees.
Click Settings in the left sidebar.
Scroll to the Orders section.
Check the box for Remove Additional Details Automatically.
Save your changes.
Once enabled, the cleanup will apply automatically to all new orders.
There can be a short delay between when an order is created and when the cleanup step runs. Under normal conditions, this happens almost immediately. However, if there is a backlog in our webhooks on either our side or Shopify’s, the process may take a bit longer.
