An agent in Timeless is a reusable helper that can summarize meetings, draft follow-ups, create docs, or sync notes to your tools — either on demand or automatically after a meeting. There are two easy main ways to create one, and both open the same agent window, so you can fine-tune settings and automation rules however you like.
Method 1 — From the lightning bolt on a summary
This is the fastest way to turn a summary you already like into a repeatable agent. Shape a summary the way you want it, then let Timeless build an agent that recreates that exact style every time.
Open any meeting summary (or other summary artifact) in Timeless.
Make any manual changes you want — adjust the structure, sections, tone, or language until the summary looks exactly how you'd like future ones to look.
Click the ⚡ lightning bolt at the top of the summary artifact.
The agent creation window opens, pre-filled based on your summary so the new agent knows what "good" looks like.
Adjust the settings and configure automation rules (see Adjusting your agent below), then click Just Save.
Method 2 — From the "Create an agent" chat action
Prefer to start from scratch with a plain-English/Hebrew idea? You can create an agent directly from chat.
Open the Daily Chat (Lobby) or any Meeting or Room.
Invoke the Create an agent action — type
#in the command bar and choose Create an agent (or select it from# Actions → ➕ Create an Agent).Describe what you want in natural language — for example:
"Summarize today's meeting, create a doc in Timeless, and send a follow-up email with the action items to all participants."The agent window opens with your instructions filled in.
Adjust the settings and automation rules as needed (see below), then click Just Save.
💡 Best for: starting from an idea rather than an existing summary — "draft me a follow-up email", "prep me for my next meeting", "add action items to Notion".
Adjusting your agent (both methods)
No matter which method you used, you land in the same agent window — so you can always fine-tune before (and after) creating. Here's what you can control:
Name — a short, descriptive name you'll use to run it, e.g.
/FollowUp Bot.Instructions / description — exactly what the agent should do. The more specific, the more consistent the result.
@ Context — where the agent pulls information from (recent meetings, specific contacts, a Room).
# Actions — what the agent can do: create a doc, send an email, add items to Notion or Monday.com, and more.
Automation rules (Run) — choose "Only when I ask" or "After every meeting" (for all meetings, or only when specific conditions are met — e.g. "only if the client says 'send me a proposal'").
You can always come back and edit an agent later — change its instructions, actions, or automation rules at any time. Nothing is locked in when you first create it.
Frequently asked questions

It appears at the top of a summary artifact when you have it open. Make your edits to the summary first, then click ⚡ to build an agent from it.
