How does timeOS' Jira Software integration work?
Once you integrate Jira with timeOS, your meeting summary and action items will be automatically synced to Jira as a note linked to the relevant projects or tasks. If any particular meeting attendee does not exist as a user in Jira, we'll simply create it for you. For every meeting, we'll create a separate note in Jira, so you can easily find the summary you're looking for!
Setting up your Jira integration
Enter timeOS' Settings, and open the "Integrations" tab.
Select "Jira" from the list of supported integrations
Click on "Select account" and then click on "+ Add new account".
Enter your Atlassian subdomain (the first part of the URL that appears in the address bar on your Jira account), then click on "Add account".
Scroll down to give timeOS permission to access your Jira account. You'll see the name "Rollout" appear, which is the name of our integrations partner :)
Click on "Connect".
You can sync your meeting notes and/or your assigned action items. Simply select the Project, Reporter (yourself), and type of task (Task, Bug, Story, Epic, or Subtask).
Finally, Click on "Enable" to finish setting up your Jira integration!
