How does timeOS' Salesforce integration work?

Once you integrate Salesforce with timeOS, your meeting's AI Notes and/or your meeting transcripts will be automatically appear on your Salesforce account!

You can sync all meetings to Salesforce, or only sync meetings with a specific word / phrase in the title. Your AI Notes can appear on Salesforce as Tasks and/or Notes, linked to the relevant Account and/or Opportunity. If none exists we'll just add it to the relevant Lead, and we can even create new Leads as needed :)

Your AI will find the right Salesforce object based on the domain of your meeting participants, so even if you're Lead or Contact on Salesforce wasn't invited to a specific meeting, your notes and/or transcript will still appear exactly where you need them.

Setting up your Salesforce integration

  1. Enter timeOS' Settings, and open the "Integrations" tab.

  2. Select "Salesforce" from the list of supported integrations

  3. Click on "Select account" and then click on "+ Add new account".

  4. Specify whether your Salesforce Environment is a Staging or Production environment, and click on "Add Account".

In doubt ask your Salesforce manager / IT manager. If you're already using Salesforce in your day-to-day, "Prod" is most likely the right environment.

  5. Log in to your Salesforce account.

  6. Provide Rollout (our integrations vendor) access to your Linear account.

  7. Click on "Connect" to finalize your Salesforce integration!

  8. First, decide if you want all your meeting data to sync to Salesforce or not.

If you don't want to sync all meetings to Salesforce, simply specify a keyword or phrase and we'll only sync meetings with matching titles. Leave this field blank to sync all meetings instead.

  9. Next decide if your AI Notes should appear as Salesforce tasks, notes, or both.

  10. Sync your AI Notes to your Salesforce Accounts, or Opportunities. You can sync data to both Accounts and Opportunities, just be aware that you'll see both objects appear on the Account level.

  11. Decide if your meeting data should be synced to the relevant Lead if no relevant Account and/or Opportunity was found. If you'd like, opt for timeOS to create a Lead if none was found. timeOS will enrich the lead with a description of their background, links to their LinkedIn and their company website, and other helpful details.

  12. Finally, decide if the meeting transcript should be synced along with your AI Notes. Notice that meeting transcripts will always be created as Notes on Salesforce. If meeting transcripts are synced to a Lead, be aware that the Note(s) containing your meeting transcript(s) won't show on Salesforce until you convert it into a Contact.

  13. Click on "Enable" and you're good to go!

That's it! You will see the "Off" button become "On", which means that the integration is active. Your AI Notes and/or transcripts will automatically be sent to Salesforce.
