Chapters in Magma Math are shared folders for assignments. They allow you to collaborate with selected teachers, giving everyone added the ability to view and use the assignments within that chapter.”
How to Create a Chapter
Click on the three vertical dots next to any assignment and select on Share with Colleagues.
Create and name your chapter (Tip: Use something descriptive helps your team stay organized (e.g., “4th Grade Team”))
Add colleagues by selecting on who you will like for them to have access to.
Click Create. Once a chapter is created, any assignment shared to it will be visible to all colleagues picked.
How to Share an Assignment
Next to the assignment, click on the three vertical dots, and click on Share with Colleagues.
Pick which chapters have access to the assignment and click on Share.
Find to Remove Shared Assignments from Chapters
Click on My Books (under the Classes tab), and make sure the drop-down is showing Shared Assignments.
Find the name of the chapter to open the list of all the shared assignments, and click on the three vertical dots next to find the delete assignment feature.
How to Find the Shared Assignments
There are two ways to access assignments shared in collaborative chapters:
From the New Assignment feature:
Click New Assignment.
Look for the Shared Assignments folder (it's green).
Locate the chapter name you want and assign the content from there.
From My Books (under the Classes tab)
Go to My Books under the Classes tab.
Open the drop-down menu and select Shared Assignments.
Locate the chapter name you want and assign the content from there.
