Magma Math is built with flexibility in mind, making it easier for teachers to support students with IEPs, 504 plans, or any learners needing personalized adjustments. Whether you're accommodating for learning differences, pace, or content level, Magma provides tools to help.

Accommodation Options

  • Extended Time
While Magma does not have a countdown timer, assignments remain open based on the teacher’s due date settings. This gives students the time they need to complete work at their own pace.

  • Alternate Versions
Teachers can duplicate existing assignments and modify them to suit individual needs. Adjustments might include:

    • Fewer questions

    • Choosing from either mild, medium, or spicy problems

    • A shift in skill focus

Tips for Teachers

  • Assignments can be personalized to focus on specific types of problems, making it easier to target skills that align with each student’s needs and learning goals.

  • Use student groups to streamline assigning customized versions.

  • Pair these adjustments with classroom strategies (e.g., read-alouds, extended due dates) for maximum support.
