Classes compete against other classes within their school, encouraging engagement, participation, and accuracy during Live Activities.
Scores automatically reset every Sunday, creating a fresh competition each week.
Why Teachers Use the Weekly Scoreboard
The Weekly Scoreboard helps:
increase engagement during Live Activity
encourage accurate calculations and participation
create friendly classroom competition
motivate students throughout the weekHow It Works
Each class competes based on the number of good calculations completed in an assignment.
Only the highest-scoring assignment from each class counts toward the weekly total.
Scores reset every Sunday, starting a new competition week.
How Scoring Works
Classes earn points based on the number of good calculations completed during a Live Activity assignment.
Only the highest-scoring assignment from each class counts toward the weekly scoreboard total.
This means:
scores are not cumulative across all assignments
the single best Live Activity performance determines the class score
Example
If a class completes three Live Activities during the week:
Assignment 1 → 120 good calculations
Assignment 2 → 125 good calculations
Assignment 3 → 80 good calculations
The class’s Weekly Scoreboard total will be: 🏆 125 good calculations - Only the highest assignment score is counted.
