When using the Pencil tool, pressing Alt lets pupils draw without needing to hold down the trackpad or mouse button—perfect for:

  • Pupils using keyboard-only setups

  • Those with fine motor challenges

  • Devices where pressing and holding the trackpad can be tiring

This small shortcut makes it easier for all pupils to engage in visual problem-solving and keeps math digital and inclusive.
