Something Not Working? Let’s Troubleshoot!

If you’re having trouble loading Magma Maths or something isn’t working quite right, here's a guide to help you figure out what’s going on.

Clear Cache and Cookies (Hard Refresh)

For the best Magma experience, we recommend using the latest version of Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge on a laptop or desktop, or the Magma Maths app on iPads.

  • Desktop: Works best on up-to-date versions of Windows, macOS, or ChromeOS

  • iPad: The Magma Maths app works best on iOS 15.1 or later

Google Chrome

  1. Open Chrome.

  2. Click the three dots (⋮) in the top-right corner.

  3. Go to Settings.

  4. Scroll to Privacy and security and click Clear browsing data.

  5. Set the Time range

  6. Switch to the Advanced tab.

  7. Check Cookies and other site data and Cached images and files.

  8. Click Clear data.


Microsoft Edge

  1. Open Edge.

  2. Click the three dots (⋮) in the top-right corner.

  3. Go to Settings > Privacy, search, and services.

  4. Under Clear browsing data, click Choose what to clear.

  5. Check Cookies and other site data and Cached images and files.

  6. Click Clear now.
