The Weekly Scoreboard adds a competitive and engaging element to Live Activity by ranking classes based on their good calculations throughout the week. Classes compete within their school, and scores reset every Sunday to start a fresh round of competition.

Why It Matters

The Weekly Scoreboard is designed to:

  • Increase engagement during Live Activity

  • Encourage pupils to focus on accurate calculations

  • Create friendly competition between classes

  • Motivate consistent participation throughout the week

How It Works

  • Each class competes based on the number of good calculations completed in an assignment.

  • Only the highest-scoring assignment from each class counts toward the weekly total.

  • Scores reset every Sunday, starting a new competition week.

Example Scoring

Class A completes three assignments during the week:

  • Exercise 1: 120 good calculations

  • Exercise 2: 125 good calculations

  • Exercise 3: 80 good calculations

Class A’s Weekly Score = 125

The score is based on the highest single assignment - not the total (325).

How to Use It

  1. Open Live Activity.

  2. Click the πŸ† button in the upper-right corner.

  3. View the scoreboard to see class rankings.

  4. Encourage pupils to submit good calculations within an assignment to climb the rankings.

Weekly Reset

Every Sunday, scores reset automatically.
This ensures each week is a new opportunity for classes to compete and improve.
