Show Pupil Thinking with Voice Recordings

Allow pupils to record their voice while solving problems, giving teachers a deeper view of their thought process. This feature makes learning more interactive and helps teachers understand how pupils arrive at answers, not just what they submit.

How Pupils Use Voice and How Teachers Can Access Voice Recordings

Pupils will see a voice button in the top-left corner of the canvas. Pressing the button starts recording their voice, and when they submit their solution, the recording is automatically attached. Teachers can see which solutions include a voice recording and can play it back directly in the solution view. A transcript is also available for quick reading and review.

Why It’s Helpful

Recording their thinking aloud encourages pupils to articulate their reasoning and reinforces understanding. Teachers can use the recordings and transcripts to provide more targeted feedback and identify patterns in pupil thinking. Combining voice recordings with written work gives a complete view of each pupil's approach and supports diverse learning styles.
