How Pupils Use It
When working on an assignment in Years 10–13, pupils will see an option to write to Lava where applicable. They can:
Click the Write to Lava button.
Type their answer or reasoning directly.
Submit when ready.
Teachers will then be able to view these responses within the assignment details.
💡 Teacher Tip: Encourage pupils to use this feature for problems where reasoning, explanation, or alternative methods are key. It's a great way to build mathematical communication skills.
